On February 1^st Björn Sjöstrand started as the CEO of Unitech Pharma, the holding company of the contract manufacturing organization Unitech Biopharma, with Annette Elmqvist as CEO. Björn has recently moved to Sweden after three successful years as CBO of Crucell, CEO of Berna Biotech, board member in European Vaccine Manufacturers (EVM) and member in Global Alliance for Vaccine Initiative´s (GAVI) CEO group of the six largest vaccine companies. Previously Björn was the CEO of SBL Vaccines.

In April Lisa Sandberg , Vice President of Marketing and Sales, joined the company. Lisa, holding a M. SC in biotechnology and entrepreneurship, previously worked as the Global Product Manager for one of Crucell’s travel vaccines and played a pivotal role in the successful globalization of that product. 

Björn, Annette, Lisa, Hans Olofsson (the head of production) and Eva Utterström (QP) form a strong management team.
